Mejida's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for tuition fees.

Mejida's story

Mejida is married and has fifteen children. She is a member of Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation, Inc. Mejida supports the family through her buy-and-sell-vegetables business, in the Philippines.

The accompanying photo shows Mejida with her daughter, Rona Nae, who is 18 years old and is the fourteenth of fifteen children in the family. She is seeking a Bachelor of Science in Education and currently on her third year of this four-year course of study.

Mejida is borrowing 14,000 PHP. She is using the loan to pay the tuition fees of daughter Rona Nae, for the second semester of the school year 2016-2017.

When she graduates, Rona Nae plans to be a teacher, and to help her mother send her youngest sibling to finish college, as well.
