Tuzamurane Tangabo Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sorghum to make a local soft drink to sell to his community.

Tuzamurane Tangabo Group's story

Vianney is 42 years old and is married with five children. Due to his experience, Vianney was nominated as the group leader for Tuzamurane Tangabo. In the photo, Vianney is the person holding a paper in his hand. Vianney has owned and operated a local soft drink making business for the past 4 years. Like many of those in the group, his business is well organized and requires that he work from 6am to 7pm every day. Despite the long days, Vianney is determined to operate a successful business in order to provide a better life for his children and his community. Vianney has requested a loan from Kiva through VisionFund Rwanda in order to buy more sorghum to make more of the local soft drink to sell. With the profits from this loan, he will be able to reinvest in his business, pay school fees for his children, and save for his future.
