Nyansho-Kahama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more sets of fabrics, textiles and materials needed for making better designs of clothes.

Nyansho-Kahama Group's story

Sarah is in her mid 40s and is married with two children. To support her family, she operates a tailoring workshop where she sews, designs and sells handmade clothes for both male and female customers. She's been running this business for 10 years, working from 8 am to 8 pm daily to raise her profit.

This will be her very first loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania. Sarah applied for this loan to improve her sewing business. With the loan, she plans to buy more sets of fabrics and sewing materials for making better designs of clothes. She strongly believes this loan will be a turning point towards her business success as she dreams of opening more workshops in the near future.

She will share a portion of this loan with the "Nyansho" group which is made up of seven hardworking women who will be holding each other accountable for paying back the loan.
