Abadahemuka Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more secondhand clothing to sell to her community, such as skirts, t-shirts, blouses, etc.

Abadahemuka Group's story

Jeanne is a 27-year-old married mother of two children. She is the leader of the ABADAHEMUKA Group. In the photo above, she is the seated woman holding up paper money. She operates a small business selling secondhand clothing. She works hard to support her family and provide them with a better life. Every morning Jeanne opens her stand at 7 a.m. and works tirelessly until her daily supply is sold.

Jeanne foresees an unwavering demand, which she hopes will allow her to expand her business as she acquires more funds. She is requesting a loan from Kiva via VisionFund Rwanda to buy more skirts, t-shirts, blouses, etc. to sell to her community. With any profits she earns, she will be able to get medical insurance for her family, buy clothes for her children, buy enough food for her family, save for her future, and expand her business.
