Rose's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy medicines and other products for her pharmacy business.

Rose's story

Rose is glad that she is able to serve the medical needs of her community, through her humble pharmacy. She appreciates the people of Kiva and its supporters, for their commitment to assist small businesspeople like her.

She is once again seeking funds, this time in the amount of PHP 50,000. She will use the loan to pay for medicines for common illnesses such as colds and cough, plus multivitamins and diapers, for kids and adults. Her drugstore has been doing quite well, and its income has helped meet her family's needs.

On a weekly basis, Rose meets with her co-fellowship members to share her life’s testimony, and her experiences in business. She also draws strength and inspiration from the fellowship and listening to the Word of God. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 20 members. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social relationships, and pay microfinance loans.
