A loan helped to buy cattle to increase her herd.

Ozoda's story

Ozoda is a 44 year old woman living in a rural area. She has been working in cattle for several years. She is the mother of 3 children and, thanks to her cattle business, she is able to provide for her family as cattle keeping in the main source of income for her family. Ozoda began keeping livestock after the death of her husband in order to somehow provide for her children. Little by little she has been able to increase her herd. She has 2 dairy cows and 2 young calves. In addition, she milks her cows and sells the milk to her neighbors. In this way she has been providing for her family at all times. Her sons and daughters-in-law help her with this work. Now Ozoda is experiencing some financial difficulties because of a decrease in cattle prices. She plans to buy one more dairy cow in order to increase her herd and in this way increase her milk production. She has decided to take out a loan and has turned to our organization for financial support. With the money she receives, she wants to buy one more dairy cow and increase her space for livestock.
