Esperanza Dolores's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase fabrics, threads and materials for her sewing shop.

Esperanza Dolores's story

Esperanza is 50 years old. She is divorced and from this relationship she has two children who are 19 and 18 years old. Both of them study at the university. They live in the county of El Carmen, a community that works growing and exporting bananas, cocoa and tropical fruit. She has spent many years learning dressmaking from a local academy. This is how, with her knowledge, she decided to install a sewing shop with which she could get her children ahead through a lot of sacrifice.

Esperanza makes all types of clothing for women and children. In addition to this work, she also spends her free time selling Avon products (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and accessories for women.) This is how she was able to obtain enough resources to meet the needs of her household and to pay for medicines for her father who lives with her and who is confined to a wheelchair. She will invest this loan in the purchase of fabrics, threads and materials for her sewing shop. Her dreams are to purchase a car and to complete the construction of her home.
