Acosta Yolanda's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy equipment and supplies for her ice cream sales business.
Acosta Yolanda's story
Yolanda, 40, is married and has two children, one of whom is at university. Her husband is a construction worker. Yolanda has operated a business making and selling ice cream for two years. She tells us that she had a business before raising and selling chickens and used her savings from it to buy a truck and a machine for making ice cream. Her customers like her ice cream, she says, and she is happy with the progress she has made. Yolanda is applying for a loan that she will use to buy a new engine and a display case for displaying other snacks. Her goal for the future is to add a second floor to the family's house, an addition that would improve their standard of living.
