Kigamboni Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to increase the number of broiler chicks to raise and to buy sacks of feed, medicines and vitamins for growth.

Kigamboni Group's story

Anna is in her early 40s and is married with three children. She is a farmer with a poultry business. She raises and sells layers, broiler chicks, eggs, chicken feed and vitamins to support her family. She's been in this business for five years, working from 6 am to 10 pm daily and is making a good profit.

This will be her very first loan request to Kiva from Tujijenge Tanzania and she will use the loan to increase the number of broiler chicks to raise and to buy sacks of feed, medicines and vitamins for growth.

Her biggest business dream is to grow much further and she will share a portion of this loan with her loan group members of "Kigamboni" and they will be responsible for paying back the loan in full at maturity.
