Majed Group's story

Ghofran is the featured borrower for Majed Group. She got along with her other group members to take this Al Majmoua loan, because they have always been neighbors and friends in Syria. They are working hard to develop their businesses and living at the same time.

Ghofran is a 25-year-old, married Syrian mother of two. Three years ago, she started making embroidery and selling Cotton Wear to support her husband in covering their family's needs and expenses. She is a hard worker who is trying hard to develop her business.

Today, she is acquiring a loan from Kiva's field partner Al Majmoua, to increase her merchandise with more cotton wear and buy necessary tools for the embroidery. She also wants to renovate her house before winter. She is the lady in the middle.

With respect to the other group members, Wesal is the first on the right, and Sahar is the first on the left of the photo.
