A loan helped to complete her graphic design degree.

Marisol Olga's story

Marisol is the younger of two siblings. She lives with her parents, who work as salespeople in a grocery store. She decided to study graphic design because she likes to be innovative and learn new graphic and communication trends that allow her to solve the different problems that present themselves. She is in the fifth cycle of her degree, and it is going very well for her. She is currently doing a pre-professional internship, but it is not paid. However, she understands that this situation will allow her to gain more experience.

In view of the fact that her parents are passing through a complicated financial situation, she is requesting support from Kiva, through an education loan, to cover the cost of her final two cycles. Thanks to this, she will achieve her dream of obtaining her designer degree, which will allow her to work efficiently at a large business in the area of website design or as a text editor thereby helping her family financially.

Finally, Marisol thanks Kiva for being a part of her professional training and for the great opportunity of achieving her dream: “Thank you for selflessly supporting young people that have talent but don’t have financial resources. Your contribution to our training will be truly unforgettable.”
