Lina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay school expenses for Lina's three daughters, who attend vocational, public and private schools.

Lina's story

Lina is a 41-year-old, Lebanese, married housewife and mother of five. Two of her daughters are featured with her in the photo. Lina is applying for this loan specifically for three of her daughters, who attend vocational, public and private schools.

The needed loan is part of the "Back to School" program of Kiva’s field partner, Al Majmoua. The program is solely designed to finance school-related expenses, such as tuition, books, stationery, transportation, and other fees for students who belong to a low-income family.

One of Lina’s daughters is doing her BT in a vocational school, while the other two are in kindergarten and grade five. By helping Lina, you are contributing to the education of three kids and securing for them one of their basic rights.
