but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy stitching materials, such as spools of thread in different colors, packs of zippers and buttons, etcetera.

Samina's story

Surrounded with poor financial circumstances, this woman needed to start her own business, to increase her purchasing power for meeting her household expenditures. Samina is 45 years old, a married woman and a mother of seven children. She is a hardworking mother, who is helping her family by providing tailoring services in her community. She has been doing this for many years. She very well knows the techniques of stitching. Her regular customers are her neighbors and the local community. She earns enough to lead a decent life.

To help her continue the operation of her business, she requested a loan of 45,000 PKR. She planned to use this amount to buy stitching materials, such as spools of thread in different colors, packs of zippers and buttons, etcetera. These would enable her to sew more dresses on time. In addition to repaying the loan, she will use part of the revenues to deal with personal expenses.
