Coopa-Ugajoc Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy more rice seeds to cultivate more rice to sell to her community.

Coopa-Ugajoc Group's story

Venantie is a 41-year-old married mother of two children. She is the leader of the Coopa-Ugajoc Group. The group is composed of 11 members, and each of them have a business. In the photo, she is the woman seated with her hand raised. She operates a small business of cultivating and selling rice. She works hard to support her family to provide them with a better life. Every morning Venantie opens her stand at 5am and works tirelessly until 5pm.

She foresees an unwavering demand, which she hopes will allow her to expand her business as she acquires more funds. She is requesting a loan from Kiva via VisionFund Company to buy more seeds to cultivate more rice to sell to her community. With any profits, she will be able to get medical insurance for her family, pay school fees and buy sufficient food for her children, and expand her business as well.
