Ednance's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cows for rearing and fattening.

Ednance's story

Endnance is hardworking woman in her 40s who resides in Kamarya in the Kiruhura district. She has lived in this region since her marriage with her husband.

Her family is involved in cattle keeping and farming, which is how she derives her livelihood. Endnance owns several heads of cattle, which provide her with a few liters of milk daily to sell at the local dairy. Endnance uses this money to sustain her family.

Her other sources of income include profits from selling food during the seasonal markets. The family hopes to use the money to buy more cows for rearing and selling so as to be able to pay the school fees for the school-going children.

Endnance's challenges are similar to those affecting the region, such as drought, disease among cattle and unstable prices for agricultural products.

Endnance is a very hardworking lady. She believes that the Kiva fund will help her improve her livelihood.
