Genara's story

Genara lives in the rural town of Talibon, Bohol. She owns and operates a sari-sari (variety) store. She sells merchandise such as cooking oil, seasonings, coffee, powdered milk, pouch vinegar, soap, shampoo, eggs, and toiletries.

Genara is married and has seven children. Three of them are still her dependents. Her husband is a farmer, the income from which helps defray the family's daily expenses.

Managing a sari-sari (variety) store is a demanding business for her locality. That is why Genara is seeking ways to become more productive. She has requested a loan and will use it to purchase assorted goods such as rice, feed, and beverages.

Genara is hopeful that she will be able to handle her finances and improve her income soon.
