Wonsom 1 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase more groceries on a wholesale basis.

Wonsom 1 Group's story

The "Wonsom 1 Group" will begin its first cycle in ID-Ghana, as part of the poverty-eradicating program, and is made up of 11 members led by a board of directors of which Lebene is President.

The loan being taken out will benefit a group of small micro-entrepreneurs, of which Lebene is a featured borrower. Currently she has a business selling groceries. She learned this business through her own efforts many years ago.

The loan they are now taking out will be used to increase capital to purchase more groceries on a wholesale basis. This is provided by vendors in the City of Kasoa, to later resell the groceries in her stall on retail. This line of work allows her to earn resources to support her family economically, since she is married and has three children.
