A loan helped to buy bicycle for her child to get to school.

Thim Group's story

Thim is a 31 year old married mother with two children. She is pictured first from the right, and her main source of income since 2006 is from growing rice. Her husband earns profit from working as a construction worker. One of her children is a student and the other one is too small. All of them live in the Pursat Province, Cambodia. Thim and her husband can make approximately $ 9 each day.

Thim is the group leader and would like to request a loan as a group of three members. She will use her portion to buy a bicycle for her child to get to school. With this loan, she will have enough money for her child to ride to school. Moreover, she plans to renovate her house and support her children to earn higher education.
