A loan helped us grow our business, hire staff, and expand our inventory and brand.
My name is Tasheana Ejikeme and my partner and wife is Uzo Ejikeme and we own a clothing company called Stuzo Clothing. Our goal is to continue making clothes for people that dare to be different. I was born in North Carolina. My family is from Panama. I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. I moved to Los Angeles from NY in 2010 with my wife and a dream. I tried to find a job in my field of Graphic Design but was unsuccessful so I decided to start my clothing company. With no experience, I purchased a silk screen press and taught myself how to use it then found a job in that field. I worked for one company for 2 years soaking up everything I could learn about screen printing. After 2 years, I took the leap to completely focus on growing my company. We have been working really hard and have grown tremendously from where we started. It has been very hard sometimes but this is our dream and there is no plan b. We started with just screen printing designs on t-shirts, now we make custom pieces and so much more! We serve a need in our community. We are always getting emails about how people feel so proud of who they are when they wear our clothes.
