Sweet Dina's story

Sweet Dina is 35 years old. She is married and has a 3 month old baby. She owns a grocery store where she sells different types of groceries and sachet water, and she has done this business for 16 years. Sweet Dina employs five people who take the water to bus terminals to sell for a daily wage. She also makes and sells pastries at her residence as a second source of income.

Sweet Dina wishes to sell different types of groceries so that she would not have to turn away her customers whenever they come to her shop to buy groceries. With this loan, she will be able to buy more groceries and water to sell. She wishes to employ more people in five years time to improve their livelihood. With the extra income from this loan, she hopes to support her husband in fending for the family.

This is her second loan. She has a good repayment history and will be able to pay this loan without any difficulty.

Thank you to Kiva lenders for supporting Sweet Dina’s business!
