Than's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy some construction supplies to build a latrine.

Than's story

Than, 41, is a farmer who is living in a small area of Cheung Phleung Village, Snam Preah Commune, Bakan District, Pursat Province. She is known in her community as a reliable person and she is blessed with three dependent children. All of her children are attending school. Her husband is also helping her with her business and she is earning a net income of about USD 12.50 per day.

Than wants to build a latrine for use but she cannot afford it yet. Due to the shortage of funds, Than and her husband have made a decision to request a loan from Kiva via HKL to buy some construction supplies to build a latrine. This is the first loan cycle for her with Kiva even though it is her sixth loan cycle already with HKL.

She expects that this loan will help to promote her standard of living, provide good health and to avoid environmental pollution. She is planning to buy more farmland and renovate her house. She thanks in advance all lenders for their financial support.
