A loan helped to restock her groceries in bulk to meet all the needs of her clients in the best possible and most profitable way.

Revolution Group's story

Elizabeth constructed a tuck shop located at her place of residence in Southly Park, Harare. The tuck shop is built of brick and mortar and is attractively painted. It is well stocked with various basic necessities and other luxury goods. She restocks perishables such as bread, samosas and buns on a daily basis. The other goods which she frequently restocks are rice, cooking oil, flour, various drinks, corn flakes, sugar, sweets, salt and tinned foods. The prices in her tuck shop are similar to those in nearby supermarkets, hence, her sales are not affected by more-costly individual sellers. She restocks her goods from the central business district of Harare.

Elizabeth is a 32-year-old mother of three children. Her husband is unemployed and, therefore, he helps her to restock from town daily. She is the chairperson of the Revolution group. She has been using a marketing tool of giving a sweet to everyone who buys bread from her tuck shop. She has won the hearts of many children in her area, as they throng each morning to buy bread from her tuck shop and acquire a bonus sweet.

Elizabeth will use her loan to restock her groceries in bulk to meet all the needs of her clients in the best possible and most profitable way.
