Dukoranumurava Nkoto Group's story

Chantal is a 39-year-old married mother of five children, with other four orphans she is helping . She is the leader of the DUKORANUMURAVA NKOTO Group, a group composed of 9 members, both men and women with different activities. In the photo, she is the woman who is raised up her hand . She operates a small business of selling beans . She works hard to support her family and provide them with a better life. Every morning Chantal opens her stand at 7 a.m. and works tirelessly until her daily supply is sold. She foresees an unwavering demand, which she hopes will allow her to expand her business as she acquires more funds.

She is requesting a loan from Kiva via VisionFund Company to buy more beans to sell to her community. With any profits, she will be able to get medical insurance for her family, buy shoes for her children, buy enough food for her children, expand her business and save for he future as well.
