Las Chabochas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, beans, oil, tuna, crackers, milk, sugar, coffee, detergent, toilet paper, soft drinks, and cold meats.

Las Chabochas Group's story

Guadalupe is 47 years old and in the community everyone knows her as "Doña Lupe." She is married to Alejandro and they are the parents of three children who are already independent.

For 20 years, Lupe has made a living selling groceries. "The store belonged to my father, who told me it was my inheritance," she said. Without her father, Lupe ended up in charge of the business. Her income and that of her husband allowed them to give their children a good quality of life, to pay for their education, and to remodel their house.

The small grocery store provides service from 6am to 9pm, and the merchandise is displayed on wooden shelves. In addition to the grocery store, Lupe started raising and selling pigs 10 months ago.

She has asked for a loan again in order to invest in the purchase of rice, beans, oil, tuna, crackers, milk, sugar, coffee, detergent, toilet paper, soft drinks, and cold meats in order to have a wide variety of products in the store.
