Nazeeran's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy raw material to make ropes for bed weaving and increase her earnings.

Nazeeran's story

Nazeeran is a 49-year-old woman living with her spouse and five children. She lives in the populated area of Multan, Pakistan. Nazeeran and her husband sell ropes wholesale (bed weaving) and have done this business for seven years. These ropes are used around the frames of the bed to make traditional beds. They are light weight, durable and cheap. She is very worried about her profession because his income is very low and she can hardly meet her household expenses.

She manufactures the rope and her husband supplies the different stores. She needs to increase his monthly income. She wants to increase his rope distributing on daily basis but lacks sufficient funds.

Therefore, Nazeeran has requested a Kiva loan of PKR 25,000 through Kiva’s field partner, BRAC Pakistan, for her husband's rope distribution business. With the help of this loan, she can easily continue the business and can support her family.

Nazeeran wishes for her children to have a higher education in the future but it seems impossible with their current monthly income. She hopes that this loan will prove beneficial for her rope manufacturing business and it will remove financial constraints from her family.

Nazeeran is thankful to Kiva, its lenders and BRAC Pakistan.
