Dan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy fertilizer to support her rice planting and increase yields.
Dan is 52 years old, a married mother who is blessed with six children. Two of her children are studying in a local state school in Mondulkiri province, Cambodia. She has spent around eight years doing rice and cassava planting. These businesses earn her about $11 per day, and she manages to save about $7.50 each day after offsetting expenses. The price of rice has dropped, so she cannot generate a good income as before. In order to save her business and make more income, she decided to borrow a second loan from VisionFund. Dan will use her entire loan to buy fertilizer to support her rice planting and increase yields. In the future, she hopes to earn additional income to keep supporting her children’s education and build a new house for her family to live in.
