Mwambisi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to add more sacks of rice, maize, beans and cans of cooking oil.

Mwambisi Group's story

Rehema is widowed and a mother of six children who are all still at school. She has quite a big family and therefore she works really hard to make sure that she meets all of the family's requirements. She has been a local food vendor famously known as Mama Lishe for more than 10 years now. She works from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and she's able to earn a reasonable profit.

This will be Rehema's 4th loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She used her previous loan to restock her local food stall. She's happy with the loan, as she has successfully managed to pay back all of her previous loan. She used her profit to cover household expenses like water bills and electricity and providing food for the entire family. Rehema appreciates Kiva for all the good support given to her loan group Mwambisi, which is now doing very well.

She applied for this loan to use as a capital for restocking her food stall by replacing the missing items. She also plans to add more sacks of rice, maize, beans and cans of cooking oil when she's done with the store renovation. Rehema will share this loan with her loan group members of Mwambisi group as they will hold each other accountable for paying back all of the loan.
