Francisca's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy two oxen to prepare her land and improve her production.

Francisca's story

Sra. Francisca is an elderly individual. Her children currently no longer live with her since they have dependents of their own. Francisca was not able to access a basic education because she lives in a remote region and lacks the resources. However, life taught her how to manage what she has, to work efficiently, and to take care of her family. She and her husband live in a modest house that they built through their own effort so that they could provide a healthy life and an education for their children. Sra. Francisca works in agriculture by producing onions, carrots, peanuts, and other grains.

Doña Francisca is a responsible and well-admired person in the place where she lives and works. She sells her crops at the local markets and is deeply aware that she contributes to the sustainability and food supply of her region. However, the prices of her products a few years ago were unstable, which made it difficult to plan financially for her family.

She is taking advantage of this opportunity because she needs to purchase two working oxen to prepare her land so that she can continue to strengthen her agricultural production.
