María Del Tránsito's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy pigs and concentrated feed so when she sells them she earns a profit to send her children to school.

María Del Tránsito's story

María didn't have the opportunity to go to school because she worked from a young age to help her parents. Unfortunately her husband died some time ago, leaving her alone with her seven children. Five of them live with her, and three of them are in school.

María works raising pigs and has more than 10 years of experience. She buys young pigs, fattens them, and then sells them. She learned the work because she needed to get her children ahead, and they help her. She also provides laundry services to earn a little more money, and some people even pay her with food.

She needs a lot of help from a loan to buy pigs and concentrate to feed them so she can earn a profit when she sells them and can send her children to school.

What she most wants is for God to give her good health so she can keep on working and for her children to have everything they need.
