Caroline's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a quality breed of dairy cow.

Caroline's story

Caroline, at 27 years old, is a fighter who has shaped her life at the cost of sacrifice and effort. She is a mother with a total willingness to work. She has two children whom she adores and cherishes and a handsome husband who always puts a smile on her face.

Caroline hails from the Siongiroi region of Kenya, an area that has good rainfall patterns and is known for agriculture. She has been practicing mixed farming for the past three years and is making great strides. She has planted many trees on her compound. She also grows napier grass, which has a high protein content, which she feeds her dairy cows, thereby enhancing milk production.

Caroline has been able to earn a decent and honest living by selling cow’s milk and eggs, plus having a personal business on the side. These ventures have enabled her to send her children to school and feed her family.

Dairy cow farming is a very profitable venture, and Caroline wants to take full advantage of the ready market for dairy products. Because of this demand, she is kindly requesting a 60,000 KES loan through Kiva's field partner Juhudi Kilimo to buy a good-quality dairy cow so that she can expand her milk business and satisfy the demand for milk in her area.

Caroline wholeheartedly thanks you in advance.
