Agustina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy rice, sugar, vegetables and fruits that she will sell at the small shop in her local area; she will also buy two male calves to raise.

Agustina's story

Agustina is 49 years old and mother of two children, now adults. She lives with her husband in San Pablo community in the Huabal district, Peru. As well as having a shop selling rice, sugar, and fruits and vegetables, Agustina also raises dairy cattle and small animals that are later sold or used for food.

Along with her husband Mardoqueo, Agustina also has two hectares of coffee. After disease struck their crops three years ago, the couple lived through difficult financial times. Agustina's children help with the farming work, and her dream is to have crops on more land, and to have more cattle.

The opportunity to have a loan from Norandino makes Agustina feel more responsible. She will use this loan in order to buy rice, sugar, vegetables and fruits to increase her products, earn a higher income, and continue moving forward with her family.
