Ulil's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 20 water filters to sell to her neighbours, providing them with safe drinking water.

Ulil's story

Mrs. Ulil lives in Tulangan, Sidoarjo Regency on Java, Indonesia's largest Island in terms of population.

In Indonesia, like in many other developing nations, you need to treat water before you can drink it. For that reason, most Indonesians boil water before they drink it. Or, if they have the money, they buy bottled water. Mrs. Ulil attended a meeting by Nazava's sales team about alternative household water treatment options. There she learnt about Nazava Water Filters. Nazava Water Filters filter well, rain, and city water so it becomes safe to drink without boiling, and without using fuel or electricity.

Mrs. Ulil, who is also a health worker, took the opportunity to become a reseller of Nazava water filters in her community. This is the second time Mrs. Ulil has applied for a loan.

This loan will allow Mrs. Ulil to buy 20 filters and sell them on consignment to people in her community, making safe drinking water available to 100 people.
