Sabina's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped Sabina raise young animals such as pigs, chickens, and guinea pigs and improve the pen where the pigs are kept.

Sabina's story

33-year old Sabina lives with her husband son in the small village of La Flor, in Jaén, Peru. With a lot of hard work and dedication she is educating her son who is in primary school. She uses the income from her business buying and selling young animals such as pigs, guinea pigs, and chickens. She raises and feeds them from a young age and then sells them to generate an income.

Sabina is an enterprising young woman who has many plans in her head for ways to get ahead and continue earning money to support her family.

She plans to use this loan to continue raising animals and buying specialized feed for them.

During the months of May, June, and July when coffee is harvested, Sabina also works as a day labourer. She knows that if she is a responsible borrower, she will be able to access better opportunities to improve her family's standard of living.
