Kumari's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase stationery items such as pens, pencils, notebooks, etc. in bulk to expand her business.

Kumari's story

Kumari, a 47-year-old married woman residing in the small village of Odisha has her own stationery shop, where she sells notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, sketch pens, and other supplies.

She has a household of four members. She wants to expand her business, but with the savings of Rs. 2,000, she is unable to carry on her plans. She wants her children to have a proper education and a brighter future. She has applied for a loan of Rs. 30,000 from Mahashakti Foundation, one of Milaap's field partner.

Kumari expects an increase of RS. 1,000 after the increase in her supplies. Most of the children, and even adults, come to her shop to purchase stationery items.

Kumari and her family will be grateful to the lenders for this support, as this will weave their future in a better way.
