A loan helped To buy bags of rice.
Theresa Andoh-Mensa is 45 years old, married and has six children, three sons and three daughters. All are in school – senior high, junior high and primary. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in a commercial town called Dwenase in Ghana's Western Region. Dwenase is a suburb of Sefwi-Wiawso, the district capital. Her husband is a farmer while Theresa works as a food vendor. She prepares and sells rice balls, rice and stew, selling them from a table top at her town's market square every morning. Theresa wants a loan to buy bags of rice and other ingredients in bulk from nearby communities. She has been in business for 12 years, and hopes to expand her business and give each of her children a good education.
