Las Ganadoras Group's story

The members of the communal bank "Las Ganadoras" are starting their first Pro Mujer loan cycle through the Senkata Social Center. The group has ten members and the management board is led by Virginia, the president.

The loan they are taking out will benefit small business owners including Virginia. Her current business is selling quinoa, an activity she learned about from her mother several years ago.

She will increase her capital with the loan to buy quinoa seed from wholesale dealers in the city of La Paz. Later she will plant and harvest it so this is her production means. This type of work allows her to earn an income to support her family economically. She is married and has four chilren.
