A loan helped to buy fruit at wholesale.

Esperanza De Costanera Group's story

The “Esperanza de Costanera” communal bank will begin their second Pro Mujer cycle, as a part of the Centro Focal Alto Lima. It is made up of nine members, and it is led by a board of directors on which Brigida is the president.

The loan that they will take out will benefit small micro-entrepreneurships, in which Brigida takes part.

Currently, she has a business selling fruit. She reveals that she learned this business from her mother a few years ago.

The loan that she will now take out will be to increase her capital to buy fruit at wholesale, which she will purchase from wholesalers in the city of La Paz and later sell at her space.

This kind of work enables her to generate the resources to support her family financially, since she is married and has eight children.
