Discipline Group's story

“Discipline” is a group whose enterprising members are undertaking new challenges and pursuing their dreams of improving their businesses.

The group coordinator is Sophia. She is 42 years old, married, and has two children. Sophia has been selling foodstuffs such as tomatoes, peppers, onions and garden eggs (eggplants) for 10 years. This group has been working with ID-Ghana for the past seven loan cycles.

This group is requesting a Kiva loan and Sophia will use her portion to buy tomatoes, peppers, onions, and garden eggs. Her goal is to move forward with her business and to continue improving financially. With the profit that results from her loan, Sophia will be able to help her husband in paying school fees.
