The Lord Is My Light Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase capital from the purchase of plantains, pepper, ginger and other ingredients.

The Lord Is My Light Group's story

The group "The Lord Is My Light" will begin another cycle in ID-Ghana, as part of the focus on eradicating poverty. The group is composed of six members and is directed by a board where Abigail is the leader.

The loan will benefit small businesses, a place where Abigail is also a leader. Nowadays, she has a business in fried plantain sales called "kelewole". She came to know this business because she learned from her parents many years ago.

The loan will be used to increase capital by purchasing plantains, pepper, ginger and other ingredients that the salespeople in Chorkor will acquire. Subsequently, the sales will take place in the market. This form of work allows them to generate resources to support their families economically. Abigail is in an open relationship and has three children.
