Sanu Maiya's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support
A loan helped to buy chicken for her shop.
Sanu Maiya's story
Sanu Maiya is 38 years old. She is married and has three children aged 19, 14, and 7. Many years ago, she established her meat shop business. Working seven days a week and five hours a day, she supports her family. She has already received and successfully repaid eight loans from Patan BPW and used her most recent one to buy chickens and buffalo meat. In the future, She plans to uplift the economic condition of her family. She thanks you for your support. In Nepal, the meat is always fresh. In small stalls along busy roads, open-air butcher shops sell chicken, goat, and water buffalo by the kilo. The stalls are piled high with product and sales are brisk. With the help of a Kiva loan, BPW's borrowers are able to purchase additional stock at better prices. This increase in purchasing volume creates greater profit margins for the borrower.
