Saniya's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to establish her own beauty salon to increase her earnings and become a successful entrepreneur.

Saniya's story

Saniya is an enthusiastic and hardworking beautician, providing customized salon services to her clients. She is 30 years old and the mother of a daughter who is in school. She is a bridal makeup artist and goes house-to-house to do makeovers of the brides in the localities. Ladies appreciate her work, and she has managed to build a good client base.

Saniya did not have sufficient funds to establish a proper set-up for a salon; instead, she opted for a mobile salon going to her clients' houses for makeovers.

Saniya is grateful to BRAC Pakistan, which provided her loan to set up her salon. She is happy that now she will have a proper salon where she can provide more services to her clients, hire trainees, and increase her income. This will also allow her to look after her house and contribute to the household expenses, along with her husband.

Saniya's dream is to educate her daughter and make her an independent and successful women.
