Humaira's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy moto bike rikshaw body for her husband's transport business.

Humaira's story

Humaira is a 29-years-old woman, living with her spouse and 3 children in the area of Multan, Pakistan. She has own house made of bricks that has drinking water, electricity and plumbing.

Humaira wants to save so that she can provide better living facilities for her children but it seems impossible in the absence of a profitable source of income.

Her husband has been driving a motor rickshaw for seven years but his income is insufficient to feed his entire family. He has to maintain the motorbike and rickshaw’s body but he does not have sufficient capital on hand to solve the problem.

For this reason Humaira has applied for a loan PKR30000 from Kiva’s field partner, BRAC Pakistan, so her husband will be able to buy the motor rickshaw’s body .This will help him to provide better transport services for his passengers. She is hopeful that this loan will be a productive one for her husband and will bring positive changes to his transport business. This is her 1st loan with BRAC PAKISTAN.

Humaira says thanks to KIVA, its lenders and field partner BRAC PAKISTAN for helping them by funding this loan to improve their living standard.
