Nkwa Traders Group's story

Comfort (the woman in the middle in the picture) is a hardworking woman who have been selling foodstuffs for the past 18 years to support her husband in taking care of her 4 children who are all currently in school. Through her hard work, Comfort has been able to successfully paid back her previous loan.

With the help of the previous loan, Comfort was able to make enough profit to cater for her family's needs and also invest the rest in her business. Comfort's main challenge however, is a place to store her goods. Comfort needs a permanent store where she can store and also sell her goods. Comfort needs assistance in the form of micro finance to realize this dream.

With the loan, Comfort will buy bags of cassava, plantain, eggs, onions and other foodstuffs for resale. Comfort hopes to make enough profit by the help of the loan so that she can save towards getting a permanent shop. By funding Comfort's loan, you will be helping in improving income in Comfort's household and also providing education for her children. Comfort and her group members are very grateful for the kind assistance from their Kiva lenders.
