Khin, wearing a red blouse in the picture, is the featured borrower. She has been working as a farmer for her entire life. With this new loan, Khin plans to purchase fertilizer and crop seeds so as to gain better crop production and boost her income. Khin wants to expand her farm and also to renovate her house with the profits and savings looking to the future.

Pictured above are loan customers named; Khin, Hla, Ni, Win and Than from Mee Pauk Village, near Myingyan Township. This community has around 265 households and most of the people earn their living by working as farmers, day laborers or by raising livestock. Due to climate change, there has been irregular rain that has had an effect on planting and made it even more difficult for farmers in the area.
