Yolanda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy cloth, threads, and needles used for making doormats and rags to sell.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is one of the many recipients of Kiva's loans. Her several loans which were all promptly settled has really helped her doormat and rag making business. Her earnings have helped meet cover their daily sustenance.

To sustain her livelihood she is humbly requesting funds in the amount of Php 20000 PHP to buy more fabric, scrap cloth, thread, and other materials to meet the increasing demand of her doormats and rags from nearby malls and stores. She is thanking CCT and KIVA for your continuous support for small businessmen like her.

Yolanda aims to work harder for the growth and success of her business and be able to help her children have their own house. Every week she meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

*All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital and repay Micro Finance loans.
