Anitaben's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to expand her tailoring enterprise by purchasing a new machine and cloth materials.

Anitaben's story

Anitaben is a 33-year-old woman hailing from Dahod district of Gujarat. She lives with her husband and runs the two-member household on a monthly income of INR 12,000. From this, an amount of INR 9,500 goes towards expenses.

An ambitious and enterprising woman, Anitaben started a tailoring business to improve her living conditions. She purchases cloth materials and fabrics, and turns them into dresses which she sells. She makes good money from this and is now looking to expand it. Hence she is seeking a loan of INR 15,000 from Prayas, a field partner of Milaap. The money will be used to purchase cloth materials, thread, needles, and other sewing resources.

Anitaben hopes to make an additional INR 2,500 every month after expansion. She is confident of repaying the loan within the stipulated time and is grateful to her lenders.
