Didart's story

Didart, "Handicraft Teaching" is an interactive program for the children to experience the craftsmanship of their country and respect for the environment through the use of technology. This program seeks to revalue the cultural identity through interactive games, videos, augmented reality, maps, and the material to make the traditional artisanal techniques with the use of mobile devices, helping the dynamics of the school’s classroom. Children will be guided through a "journey" where they learn on how to transform raw materials into the final product, learning the technique and using their imagination to create their own pieces. The material comes from natural resources that indigenous women collect, clean and distribute to provide children’s Artisanal KITS, through this business model, DIDART creates jobs of more than 250 artisans. DIDART teaches children about the importance of their national cultural and the responsible use of natural resources through alternative methods, such as the use of new technologies and interactive games.
