Rickson's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped Rickson restock his general store.

Rickson's story

Rickson is glad that he learned of KIVA, whose noble mission is to alleviate poverty and help small businessmen like him. His previous loan has helped sustain his "sari-sari" store and provided for the maintenance of his jeepney.

Once again he would like to request from your good office a PHP 50000 loan to increase his stock of essential food items like rice, bread, instant noodles, canned goods and toiletries. Having more packaged food items on display will attract more customers. Part of the loan he will use for the regular and proper repair and maintenance of his jeepney vehicle.

Rickson aims to invest in a big grocery store someday. He faithfully meets up with his co-fellowship members to share stories of his work every week and where he can also draw strength and inspiration from the word of God he studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the word of God, build social capital and pay Micro finance loans.
