Tuak Tinggi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a bucket of fish for resale and ingredients such as wheat, cooking oil, margarine, soda, etc., for making snacks and cakes for sale.

Tuak Tinggi Group's story

Tuak Tinggi is a group represented by Selviana, a 37-year-old woman. She is married with five children between the ages of three and 15 years old; four of them are still enrolled in school.

To make a living, her husband Karolus works as a fishmonger. He operates his business from one place to the next. Nevertheless, Selviana took the initiative to make more money to make a better life for her family. She owns a business selling salted fish, handmade snacks, fried corn and cakes. She really enjoys doing this business. The children are the main reason for her to run this business.

Every day, she produces cakes and 40 to 50 salted fish to be sold. Her business has been in operation for 14 years.

Selviana wants to enhance the current business. She dreams to save some of the money earned from the business for the children's educational expenses in the future. Selviana hopes to get more capital to buy a bucket of fish for resale, as well as ingredients such as wheat, cooking oil, margarine, soda, etc., for her food production and sales business,

She got information that TLM / Kiva provides loans for small entrepreneurs. Along with five women, Selviana formed the Tuak Tinggi Group and requested a loan totaling 12,000,000 IDR from TLM. The group members believe the loan will be a benefit to the improvement of their businesses in the future.
