Ronald's story

I was born and raised in West Baltimore, Maryland. I've always had a dream to own my own business and to make a difference in my life, my family's lives and in the lives of others. Though growing up was sometimes difficult, living in a community where you had to work extremely hard for what you wanted instilled in me the ethic and drive to want to change my family's legacy. Growing up I relied on the music and visual arts to keep me grounded and as a mental escape from what was happening around me. After graduating high school from the Baltimore City School System, I enrolled in North Carolina A&T State University to pursue a degree in business management while leaving my comfort zone in Baltimore City. While enrolled I also grasped the idea and the know how to make the art that I was creating a business. In North Carolina I met mentors and established life long personal and business relationships that have help in my maturity and increased my drive to be an innovator of change and in business. Today I have expanded my business idea into a business that now provides for my family and others. After living in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad area for 7 years my family and I relocated back to Baltimore to expand the business and for career opportunities. I am currently building my business and I am heavily involved in the development of future entrepreneurs, the business development of local organizations and community faith-based initiatives. My goal is to help as many potential entrepreneurs as possible develop businesses that create sustainable incomes for members of their communities and to show those that have grown up in similar environments that there is opportunities to own your own and make a difference.
